Sir, i�m looking to establish a goat farm with around 100 ( in numbers ) goats. i have my agriculture land, so space dos n�t matter. so what will be the size of the shed to farm 100 nos of bgoats.. Working estimate for construction of goat shed - i at jaring 1 excavation of foundation in all kinds of soil including dressing & leveling the bed and depositing the soil away from working area within all lead & lift etc. complete. Good evening. i wish to start stall fed goat farm around saharanpur up or dehradun.please advise that with how many minimum goats ,should i start. after having gone through your site i understand that for 100 goats ,the area reqd is 1200-1500 sqft.pl inform if this area is for shed only or it includes open area also..
Provision of simple shed with low cost housing materials is enough for sheep and goat for its optimum production efficiency. sheds with mud floor are suitable for most of parts of the country except where high rainfall is observed. the sheds should be constructed in an elevated area to prevent water stagnation.. That said, goat shelter doesn't need to be elaborate. a hoop house can provide enough shelter for goats. and during the grazing season, trees or windbreaks, a three-sided shed, or a pole barn with just a roof may be enough for your goats.. Commercial goat farm. let us earmark 4-5 acre plot, where 226� x 281� area will be earmarked for shed construction and rest for green fodder cultivation..
